The Poulsbo Maritime Museum showcases the rich maritime history of Poulsbo and North Kitsap. Through imaginative exhibits and interactive displays, the museum invites guests to explore Poulsbo’s diverse maritime history.

  • Commercial and sport salmon fishermen harvesting the bounty of the Salish Sea 

  • Homeport of an Alaska codfish fleet and the local processing plant 

  • Oyster farming and processing

  • The Mosquito Fleet

  • Water sports ranging from rowing crews to sailboating, kayaking, and paddleboarding.

  • Transport by water of early logging camps and logs
  • Boat-building on Liberty Bay

Poulsbo Historical Society partners with Visit Kitsap Peninsula to provide a Visitors Center at the museum.
